Do you accept insurance?2023-08-24T23:36:28+00:00

Yes, we do. Our Care Team consists of Care Navigators and Medical Billing Specialists who will assist you with understanding your insurance and mental health coverage. We accept the following carriers:

  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Empire Bluecross Blueshield
  • Optum
  • Oscar
  • Oxford
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • UMR
  • Harvard Pilgrim
  • WellFleet plans (only certain plans)

If your insurance isn’t on this list, there are options!

  • We can provide a superbill for out-of-network claims. This could potentially reimburse you 50-80% post-deductible, typically within 4-6 weeks.
  • Utilize your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to manage treatment costs and medication expenses, including possible coverage of insurance premiums.
  • We offer competitive self-pay rates. For more details feel free to call or text us at (718) 790-4511, email hello@reklamehealth.com, or use our website chat to reach a representative!
Do you accept community, state, Medicare, or Medicaid plans?2023-10-18T21:19:39+00:00

Not just yet, but we’re working on it! We’re planning to accept these plans soon. If you’d like, we can add you to our waitlist. Just give us a call at (718) 790-4511 or send an email to hello@reklamehealth.com  with your name, phone number, email address, and insurance provider. In the meantime, we have affordable rates for self-pay visits and can guide you on using your HSA or FSA for mental health care.

What does “telehealth” mean?2023-08-24T20:34:52+00:00

Telehealth is like FaceTiming with your doctor; it’s an easy way to get healthcare online, right from the comfort of your home. We’re fully a telehealth clinic, meaning all our services are online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

What is a nurse practitioner in psychiatry?2023-08-24T20:35:17+00:00

A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner manages psychiatric medication management. At ReKlame, your Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner can make clinical diagnoses and prescribe medication to safely and effectively provide treatment.

This is different from therapy, which is more about talking through your feelings with a therapist to learn better ways to cope. So, they both help your mental health, but in different ways: one with medicine, the other with conversation. We currently do not offer therapy at ReKlame.

What is Psychiatric Medication Management?2023-08-24T20:35:36+00:00

Psychiatric medication management is when a psychiatric nurse practitioner ensures your mental health medications are safe and effective. They assess your needs, prescribe medication, check how you’re doing, and adjust as needed.

How is it different from therapy?
Therapy is talking through thoughts and feelings with a mental health professional to learn coping skills.

What is a Care Team at ReKlame?2023-08-24T20:36:03+00:00

At ReKlame, your Care Team is made up of two key people: a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Care Navigator.

Your Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner makes clinical diagnoses and prescribes medication to provide safe and effective treatment.

Your Care Navigator is like your personal healthcare guide. They help you navigate through your journey, from scheduling appointments to connecting you with helpful resources. They’re there to make your healthcare experience as easy and stress-free as possible!

Your Care Team is here to support you every step of the way on your path to better mental health.

How long are appointments?2023-08-24T23:36:18+00:00

Your initial consultation will take about 45 to 60 minutes. After that, your follow-ups will be shorter, around 15 to 20 minutes each. How often you need to visit will depend on what you specifically need.

What can I expect during the initial appointment?2023-08-24T20:36:45+00:00

At your first appointment, your provider will get to know you and your mental health and medical history. It’s a safe space – you can ask or share anything! Your treatment will be unique to you. After the visit, you’ll get a clear plan and resources for your mental health journey. We’re here to support your healing journey.

How do I know which provider fits my needs?2023-08-24T23:36:10+00:00

At ReKlame, our team of psychiatric nurse practitioners has got you covered. Each of us is skilled in different areas. To find the perfect fit for you, just check out our ‘Meet the Team’ page and book an appointment with the clinician who feels right for you.

Do you offer treatment for addiction?2023-08-24T20:37:10+00:00

Yes we do! At ReKlame, we’re here to support you if you’re dealing with chemical addictions like opioids, alcohol, or methamphetamines. We use a harm reduction and integrative approach to help you take back control of your life through consistent, holistic care. You’re not alone; we’re with you every step of the way.

Can you assist with filling out disability, school/work accommodation, FMLA, or other types of forms?2023-08-24T20:37:37+00:00

After you’ve established care with us, the completion of forms such as disability, school/work accommodations, FMLA, or others may be possible.
