Gabrielle Hickey

Gabrielle Hickey, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Pronouns: she/her

Gabrielle Hickey’s passion is working in the psychiatry field and believes that a client is the most important member of their care team. She wants her clients to know they are able to feel comfortable discussing their mental health with her, and through empathy and active listening, she will use that information to develop shared decisions about their care.

When working with clients, Gabrielle allows them to start the dialogue, and work from there. She prefers that her clients have an opportunity to provide information in whichever way they please, rather than simply being rapidly asked questions, unless, of course, they prefer to respond to direct questions. After the first session, she expects for her members to feel heard, understood, and supported.
